How many cities are there in me? dialogues between urban interventions in the streets of Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

This essay was developed between December 2016 and October 2017, from records and visual notes made while walking through the city. I intend in this work to reflect on the different cities that appear by the streets of Rio de Janeiro and unfold in photographic social networks - specifically Instagram, in a dialogue that is established two-way: in the meeting of research with urban interventions and thinking the surfaces of the city as a support, in a temporal dialogue between different types of interventions, bringing reflections and political and poetic uses of images in these spaces, forming other possibilities of signification.
