The raft of Pedro

Abstract

This audiovisual work is linked to part of the data that has been produced in my Master's research. This sociological study has focused on the maritime culture of Ceará's jangadeiros, specifically on the collective experiences that contributed to the entry of this category of workers into the fishing industry. Through immersions in the field, carried out in the communities of Iguape in Aquiraz and Mucuripe in Fortaleza, we obtained the reports needed to compile this material, which is also a product of scientific return to the raft workers.
