Abstract
This article aims to analyse the structure of habermas's theory in and his conceptuals instruments to the study of adavanced capitalism in the “Legitimation Crises”. Discussing about operational dificults that this conceptuals instruments may present to the study of two empirical cases: the crises of Welfare State and the crises of State-Nation.
The first objective is investigate in what way the utilization of this conceptuals instruments is efective in the analayses of this cases, done by the autor. Following that, we put some critics about certains dificults that teorical construction of the autor about the structures of avanced capitalism may present, trying to demonstrate his own empirical analyses points in this direction.
