Abstract
This dossier explores the dynamics surrounding gender and sexuality in Brazil, particularly bisexuality, within a context marked by advances and setbacks. Since the 2000s, there has been a strengthening of feminist and LGBTQIAP+ movements, accompanied by an emerging anti-gender rhetoric. Despite the increasing academic production on bisexuality, there remains a notable disparity in the visibility of different groups and identities. Thus, the dossier compiles contributions from researchers who approach bisexuality from various perspectives, exploring themes such as the mental health of the bisexual population, media representations, and identity construction. Additionally, it includes a translation of a classic text by Margaret Mead and an interview with Fernando Seffner.
