As part of the actions to promote academic integrity and prevent plagiarism in publications accredited by the Portal, Temáticas adopts a text similarity identification service based on the Turnitin platform, implemented by the University since November 2016. Manuscripts that exceed 25% similarity, according to Turnitin parameters, are not accepted.
In the case of manuscripts derived from theses and dissertations, this fact must be indicated in a footnote attached to the article title. Articles with a maximum of 40% similarity to the original work (thesis or dissertation) will be analyzed. Otherwise, they will be rejected during desk review.
