Abstract

Born in Rome in 1957, Lorenzo Mammì moved to Brazil in the second half of the 1980s. According to him, until then his knowledge of Brazilian music extended to what reached the Italian capital: Chico Buarque, Vinicius de Morais / Toquinho, Tom Jobim, João Gilberto and Villa-Lobos.
