Abstract
The collection and translation of the Fragments of the epic and comic poetry of ancient Greece & Homer's Lives by Buzelli (Buzelli, 2019, ed. Odysseus) is, as the author himself points out, something completely atypical, either because of the scope of the work, or because of the uncertainty for whom the work is intended, however, in this review, I would like to indicate not only to whom the work may interest, but especially for whom it should be mandatory material. Crossing the universes of archaic and classical literature, history and philosophy, the "literary ruins" collected and very well translated by Buzzeli, constitute valuable research material, for bringing vast and qualified information to students, teachers and researchers of literature, history and philosophy, especially those who dedicate to archaic and classical antiquity.
