Abstract

Review of "The Lesson of Aeneas", by Andrea Marcolongo, Translated by Miguel Serras Pereira. Coimbra: Edições 70, 2023, 271 p. [original edition: La lezione di Enea, Rome-Bari: Gius. Laterza & Figli, 2020]. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and a paradoxical coexistence with Virgil's epic, The Lesson of Aeneas is a long essay on the masterpiece of the Mantuan poet.
