Author Biographies

  • Luisa Janeirinho, CLIP - Lusophone Community of Heritage Interpretation

    Researcher at the University of Lisbon (Centre for African and Development Studies), as well as consultant and (co-)author of projects and works that cross the areas of education and heritage, namely hermeneutical studies, memory and community intervention/dynamization, including school museums. PhD in Education and Heritage from the University of Seville, Master's degree in museology (educational/cultural heritage) from the University of Évora and certified trainer in Heritage Education. She has held various positions in the Ministry of Education in Portugal for several decades and has taught in the areas of education, heritage/culture (Universities in Cape Verde). Member of the Lusophone Community of Heritage Interpretation (CLIP).

  • Pedro Morais, Comunidade Lusófona de Interpretação do Património, CLIP, Portugal

     

    Consultant and trainer in Heritage Interpretation and Ecotourism. PhD in Ecology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Master's in Education from the University of London, Bachelor's degree in Rural Extension from the University of Évora. Lecturer in the Master's and Bachelor's programs in Ecotourism (2000/2011) at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra. Certified trainer and coordinator for Portugal of Interpret Europe. Founding member of the Lusophone Community of Heritage Interpretation (CLIP).

  • Guilherme Ferreira Rodrigues, Comunidade Lusófona de Interpretação do Património, CLIP, Brasil

    Substitute Professor at the University of Girona (Spain), teaching undergraduate courses in Tourism and master's courses in Cultural Tourism. Holds a PhD in Tourism from the same institution, specializing in Cultural Heritage and with training in World Heritage Site Management (UNESCO–UNITWIN). Has experience at the interface between education, heritage, and cultural tourism, with an emphasis on educational methodologies and heritage preservation. Participated in international projects (Erasmus+) focused on the development of pedagogical tools for cultural awareness. His work articulates teaching, research, and institutional cooperation in the field of cultural and educational heritage. Member of the Lusophone Community of Heritage Interpretation (CLIP).

  • Carmen Mattoso, Comunidade Lusófona de Interpretação do Património, CLIP, Brasil

    Educational consultant specializing in Educational Tourism, Community-Based Tourism, and Creative Economy. Background in Environmental Management. Author of the Cultural and Pedagogical Itinerary for the state of São Paulo (1999-2003 edition). Develops experiences aligned with the National Common Curriculum Base and Sustainable Development Goals for elementary and high school students, integrating education, culture, and sustainability. Develops itineraries and educational experiences in tourist destinations and communities, connecting pedagogical content to lived realities, revealing stories, memories, and practices that make up the identity of the places.
