Abstract
This article is about Sérgio Milliet’s intellectual production investigating his participation in the consolidation and institutionalization of modern art in Brazil. The
approach is made from the initial core of Brazilian works from the collection of the former São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM), currently owned by the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC USP), for which we believe he has contributed in the selection of works. We’ll analyse his performance as “cultural mediator” and his theoretical, critical and plastic production
