Abstract
Study of painter attribution and motif identification of an Attic lekythos painted in the black figure technique of the Montevideo Museum of Decorative Arts. From examination of formal, stylistic and compositional characteristics, the author attributes this vase in the Manner of Haimon Painter, dating it to around 480 BC. In the iconographic analysis, approach the scene in both literary tradition and in imagery, setting the represented moment of myth, namely the Achilles pursuing Troilos.
