Guidelines for Completing the CRediT Taxonomy
In order to acknowledge the individual contributions of each author and to provide greater transparency to readers, RHAC adopts the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) system both within the submission platform and at the end of published manuscripts, in accordance with the template available on the Submissions page.
The CRediT taxonomy identifies 14 possible contributor roles, allowing for a more precise definition of the different forms of participation in the preparation of a manuscript.
RHAC requires all authors to specify their respective contributions through the CRediT taxonomy. Roles that were not performed should not be selected.
During the submission process, the corresponding author may access and assign these roles under the “Contributors” tab by clicking “Edit” for each registered author. Any modifications must be saved before proceeding.
Authors are encouraged to consult the official CRediT website for detailed descriptions of each contributor role in order to complete the taxonomy as accurately as possible.
