Abstract
In 1952, the cartoonist Saul Steinberg came to Brazil to the exhibition of his work at the São Paulo Art Museum – MASP. Pietro Maria Bardi, director of the MASP, wrote some texts about the artist’s production. We’re publishing in this article three of these texts. They analyze with notable perception the work of Steinberg, and clearly show the qualities of Bardi in integrating the exhibition to the museum’s program.
